The Assignment
Conquer Candle Co. was assigned to capture and create scents reflecting specific seasons of my life where, through God's sovereignty, I was given undeserved grace and ability to conquer various forms of weapons formed against me.
To my fellow believers in Christ, journey with me through each season and allow these scents to remind you of or reignite the conqueror in you.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches in our home. Conquer Candle Co. is driven by the desire to tend to every detail and to create premium products that are demanded and admired.

At age 14 I wanted to help homeless people. I knew part of the plan included going to college. Part of that goal I didn't plan was to live in my car for about a year and 1/2 after college.
Car Covered was created for a critical cause. 10% of proceeds are donated to (R.A.Y.A) Rise Above Your Adversity Inc. ,a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and essentials to people living in their cars in under-resourced communities

This candle represents the personal and prolific encounter I had with God, after suffering a series of medical complications in 2021 ranging from leg numbness, difficulty breathing, eating, jaw pain, and slurred speech lasting roughly 2 ½ years.
For the first time I knowingly heard God's voice. Through fasting and praying, visions of past incidents that shaped my present state of mind were uncovered, and the difference between religion and relationship was revealed.

Out of four miscarriages, losing Jonah hit the hardest. Birthing a child with no cry robbed me mentally and maternally; causing emotional wounds bandaged with rage and recklessness. I remember calling myself mad at God, unaware of the power and purpose of His timing. This scent is dedicated to my unborn son. Life without you bears heavy heartache, but just know your heartbeat lives forever.

After a usual day of drinking, my actions posed a threat to my marriage and my motherhood. Later that night, after a cup of coffee, I was led into the bathroom. Standing in the mirror I took a long stare at my 35-year-old self and declared, "This is the Last Call."

By grace I’ve learned and am still learning to pack light while traveling through this temporary test called life; To let go and let God carry every burden to ensure I don't miss out on His lesson or His blessing.

I was quick to cut off anyone who had done me wrong, leaving no room to reset or rekindle. Prior to study and submission, I thought forgiveness was something owed to the opposition; therefore I remained debt free!
One evening I came across scripture where Peter asked Jesus how many times should he forgive someone for sinning against him.

One evening I came across scripture where Peter asked Jesus how many times should he forgive someone for sinning against him. While Peter assumed seven times, Jesus corrected him saying, “seventy times seven.” The fact I can’t stand math, frustration grew fast! I had no desire to go that far. It was when I looked back over each time God forgave my foolishness, I looked no further! What I know now is that forgiveness is not for my offender, but rather an unlimited necessity to ensure my charges are dropped! So, the next time offense is inflicted upon you, remember the powerful metaphor Jesus used so that your foolishness may be forgiven too.

Things to Consider...
Size Matters
6 oz candles are ideal for intimate spaces such as bathrooms, bedrooms, or small living areas. They are great for creating a cozy atmosphere or adding a touch of fragrance without overwhelming the senses.
10 oz candles are created for larger rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, or kitchens. They provide a longer burn time and a stronger fragrance throw, making them perfect for entertaining or setting the desired atmosphere.
Air Flow
How well you smell your candle can depend on the air flow in your space or home. For example, whether your AC or fan is running. Air flow can affect strength and mobility, which means air circulation can send the aroma to another part of your home/space, but more away from where the candle is actually burning.
Other Smells
Other aromas in the air, for instance cooking, will either affect the candle strength, mingle with the candle scent, or provide adverse smells.
Cure Time
God has a funny way of working through us when He wants to improve something in us. When candle making was introduced, patience was a requirement, but also an area where I lacked. Throughout out this process, through Christ, I am learning to conquer patience. What helps me grow is knowing I am providing something of good quality for a fellow conqueror like you. It is beyond important that I allow each candle to cure for at least 14 days to ensure it reach its full how throw strength. Like spaghetti on that 3rd day, it’s good and marinated!
Nose Sensitivity
Although this may be obvious, it is very important to consider. Our senses vary due to our individual differences. What may smell strong to me, may smell opposite to you, and vice versa. To help balance this factor, I run a small test group with various levels of sense of smell to obtain direct feedback. I also create sample cards to try before committing to spending your money or betting on a blind buy.
